Operating Instructions
1. Cooking Rice
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One cup of uncooked rice typically yields 2-3 cups of cooked rice.
- Rinse Rice: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Add Water: Place the rinsed rice into the inner pot. Add the appropriate amount of water. A common ratio is 1 cup of rice to 1.5-2 cups of water, depending on the type of rice and desired consistency.
- Place Pot: Place the inner pot into the main cooker unit. Ensure it is seated properly.
- Close Lid: Place the lid securely on the cooker.
- Plug In & Start: Plug the power cord into a wall outlet. Press the power switch to the "ON" position. The cooker will begin the cooking process.
- Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to "Keep Warm" mode.
- Serve: After a few minutes in "Keep Warm" mode (to allow rice to settle), open the lid carefully, stir the rice with the provided spoon, and serve.
2. Steaming Vegetables/Other Foods
This cooker supports steaming. If a steaming tray is included (not explicitly listed but common for multi-function cookers), place it above the water.
- Add Water: Pour an appropriate amount of water into the inner pot (ensure it does not touch the steaming tray if used).
- Prepare Food: Place vegetables or other food items onto the steaming tray.
- Steam: Place the inner pot with water and steaming tray (if used) into the cooker. Close the lid. Plug in and turn on the cooker. The steaming process will begin.
- Monitor: Monitor the food and turn off the cooker once steaming is complete.

- Add Liquid: Pour in the required amount of broth or water.
- Cook: Place the inner pot into the cooker, close the lid, plug in, and turn on. The cooker will heat the contents.
- Monitor: Stir occasionally and monitor the cooking process until the soup or stew reaches the desired consistency and ingredients are cooked. Turn off the cooker when done.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your rice cooker.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Inner Pot and Lid: Remove the inner pot and lid. Wash them with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge. The non-stick coating makes cleaning easy. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

- Power Cord: Wipe the power cord with a dry cloth if necessary.
