2. Safety Information

4. Setup & Installation
The WallBeyond medicine cabinet supports both recessed and surface mount installations. Recessed installation is recommended for a seamless appearance.
4.1 Installation Options

- Recessed Mount: The cabinet body is inserted into a wall opening, with only the mirror frame visible. This requires cutting an opening in the wall.
- Surface Mount: The entire cabinet is mounted directly onto the wall surface.
4.2 Preparing for Recessed Installation
- Determine the desired location for the cabinet. Ensure no electrical wires or plumbing are present within the wall cavity.
- Measure and mark the wall opening. The required rough opening for the cabinet body is approximately 21.9 inches wide by 24 inches high by 3.8 inches deep. Refer to the product dimensions diagram for precise measurements.
- Carefully cut the opening in the wall using appropriate tools.
- Frame the opening if necessary to provide a secure mounting surface.

4.3 Mounting the Cabinet
- Carefully lift the cabinet into the prepared wall opening (for recessed mount) or against the wall surface (for surface mount).
- Ensure the cabinet is level and plumb.
- Secure the cabinet to the wall studs or appropriate wall anchors using the provided mounting hardware. Use a drill to create pilot holes if necessary.
- Confirm the cabinet is firmly attached and stable.
4.4 Adjusting Door Opening Direction
The cabinet can be flipped for reverse installation, allowing the door to open from either the left or the right side.

- To change the opening direction, simply rotate the entire cabinet 180 degrees before mounting. The hinges are designed to function in either orientation.
4.5 Installing Shelves
- Locate the reserved internal holes inside the cabinet.
- Insert the shelf pins into the desired holes at the desired height.
- Carefully place the tempered glass shelves onto the shelf pins. Ensure they are stable before placing items on them.

5. Operation
5.1 Opening and Closing the Door
The cabinet features soft-close hinges for quiet and gentle operation. Simply pull the door open and push it closed. The damping device will automatically slow the door in the last few centimeters, preventing impact sounds.

5.2 Utilizing Storage Space
Arrange personal care items, toiletries, and medicines on the adjustable tempered glass shelves. Adjust shelf heights as needed to accommodate taller items.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Cabinet
- Mirror: Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner. Spray cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the mirror, to prevent liquid from seeping into edges.
- Frame and Interior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the matte black powder coating and aluminum finish.
- Shelves: Tempered glass shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning with glass cleaner.
6.2 Hinge Care
The soft-close hinges are designed for long-term performance. If the door action becomes stiff or noisy, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the hinge points. Do not use oil-based lubricants.
