3. Setup
Initial Placement:
Place the dehumidifier in an area where humidity control is desired. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.
Power Connection:
After unboxing, allow the unit to stand upright for 24 hours before plugging it into a standard 120V (AC) electrical outlet.
Drainage Options:
The DryTank Pro offers three methods for water drainage:
- Continuous Drainage with Included Hose: Connect the provided 6.56 ft drain hose to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity to drain water to a suitable location (e.g., floor drain, sink).
- Continuous Drainage with Garden Hose: For longer reach, a standard garden hose with a 3/4" GHT female (internally threaded) connector can be used. Connect it to the continuous drainage port.
- Manual Drainage with Water Bucket: The unit collects water in an internal 1.65-gallon bucket. When the bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off and indicate that it needs to be emptied. Carefully remove the bucket using its handle and pour out the collected water.

4. Operating Instructions
The control panel on the top of the unit allows you to manage various settings and modes.
Control Panel Functions:
- Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
- Fan Speed: Adjusts the fan speed (low, medium, high).
- Timer: Sets a timer for automatic shut-off (0-24 hours).
- Humidity Adjustment: Use '+' and '-' buttons to set desired humidity level (35%RH-80%RH).
- Mode Selection: Cycle through different operating modes.
Operating Modes:
- Continuous Mode: The dehumidifier runs continuously regardless of the humidity level. LED lights are off in this mode.
- Custom Mode: Allows you to set a specific target humidity level between 35%RH and 80%RH. The unit will operate until this level is reached.
- Comfort Mode: Automatically maintains a human comfort humidity range of 45%RH-55%RH.
- Sleep Mode: Operates within a human comfort humidity range of 40%RH-60%RH, with all lights turned off except the power button for minimal disturbance.
- Turbo Mode: Activates Continuous Mode with the fan speed set to high for maximum moisture removal.

5. Maintenance
Filter Cleaning:
The dehumidifier is equipped with a washable filter. Regularly clean the filter to ensure optimal performance and air quality. Refer to Figure 4 for the filter location.
Water Tank Care:
If using the water bucket for drainage, empty it regularly. Clean the bucket periodically to prevent mold or mildew growth. Refer to Figure 4 for the water level viewing window and bucket handle.
6. Troubleshooting

- Unit not turning on: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the water bucket is correctly inserted and not full.
- No water collection: Verify that the desired humidity level is set lower than the current room humidity. Check if the air filter is clean and not obstructed. Ensure the continuous drainage hose (if used) is not kinked or blocked.
- Unusual noise or vibration: Ensure the unit is on a level surface. Check for any loose parts or obstructions in the fan area.
