Setup

  1. Unpack the Device: Carefully remove the Morole Bug Zapper from its packaging. Inspect for any visible damage.

Operating Instructions

The Morole Bug Zapper features a single button for controlling its functions.

  1. Power On/Off: Press the power button once to turn the device on. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to turn the device off.
  2. Switching Modes: Once the device is on, short press the power button to cycle through the available modes:
    • Bug Zapper Mode: The purple UV light will illuminate, and the high-voltage grid will be active. This mode is designed to attract and eliminate insects.
    • LED Light Mode: The white LED light at the bottom of the device will illuminate, providing ambient lighting. The zapper function is off in this mode.
    • Combined Mode: Both the purple UV light (zapper) and the white LED light will be active simultaneously.
  3. Charging Indicator: While charging, a light indicator will show the charging status. This light typically turns off or changes color when fully charged. If the light remains on indefinitely after prolonged charging, it indicates the device is fully charged and maintaining its charge.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and effectiveness of your Morole Bug Zapper.

  1. Cleaning the Grid:
    • Before cleaning, ensure the device is turned off and unplugged from any power source.
    • The device features a "Push-Pull Cleaning" mechanism at the bottom. Gently pull the bottom tray to access the insect collection area.
    • Carefully remove any dead insects from the collection tray.
    • For the high-voltage grid, use a small, non-metallic brush (e.g., a soft toothbrush or a small paint brush) to gently brush away any accumulated insect debris. Do not use water or cleaning solutions directly on the grid.
    • Once clean, securely push the bottom tray back into place.
  2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure it is fully charged before storing.

Troubleshooting
