1. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

3. Setup
Unpacking:
- Carefully remove the toaster and all packaging materials from the box.
- Remove any protective film or stickers from the toaster's surface.
- Ensure all components are present: Toaster unit, removable crumb tray.
Placement:
- Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure there is adequate clearance (at least 6 inches) from walls, cabinets, and other objects to prevent heat damage.
- Do not place the toaster near flammable materials such as curtains or paper.
Initial Use:
Before first use, operate the toaster without bread on the highest browning setting (Level 6) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate.
4. Operating Instructions
Basic Toasting:
- Plug the toaster into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
- Insert slices of bread into the toaster slots. The 1.5-inch wide slots accommodate various bread types.
- Push the toast lever down until it locks into place. The digital display will illuminate.
- Select your desired browning level by touching one of the six browning level icons on the touch screen. The display will show the corresponding time.
- The toaster will automatically lower the bread and begin the toasting cycle. The digital timer will count down.
- Once the cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up.


Special Functions:
- Bagel Function: Toasts the cut side of bagels while gently warming the outer side. Insert the bagel with the cut side facing inwards. Press the "Bagel" button after selecting your browning level.
- Defrost Function: Defrosts and toasts frozen bread in one step. Insert frozen bread and press the "Defrost" button after selecting your browning level.
- Reheat Function: Warms up previously toasted bread without additional browning. Insert toast and press the "Reheat" button.
- Cancel Function: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the "Cancel" button.

Adjusting Toasting Time:
Use the "+10s" and "-10s" buttons on the digital display to fine-tune the toasting time in 10-second increments after selecting a browning level.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning the Crumb Tray:
- Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Pull out the removable crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster.
- Discard crumbs. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Slide the crumb tray back into place until it locks.
Cleaning the Exterior:
- Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
- For stubborn stains, a mild detergent can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth and drying thoroughly.
- Do not immerse the toaster in water or any other liquid.
Storage:
Ensure the toaster is clean and completely dry before storing. Wrap the power cord around the cord wrap (if available) or secure it neatly. Store in a cool, dry place.
