Setup
- Power Supply Installation:
The scale can be powered by either the included AC adapter or batteries. For battery operation, install the 4 AAA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the wireless LCD display unit. Ensure correct polarity. The main scale platform also requires batteries (not specified in input, but implied by image PT07 showing batteries in the platform). - Placement:
Place the weighing platform on a flat, stable, and solid surface to ensure accurate readings. The wireless LCD display can be placed up to 5 meters away from the platform for convenience. You can use the included display stand to prop up the display unit. - Initial Power On:
Press the ON/OFF button on the wireless LCD display to turn on the scale. The display will light up and show "0.00" when ready for use. If the red light on the platform blinks, place an item weighing more than 5kg on the platform to activate it. Once the red light stops blinking, the scale is ready for measurement.

Tare Function (TARE Button)
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or packaging, so you only measure the net weight of the contents.
- Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.00".
- Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the weight of the added items.
Hold Function (HOLD Button)
The Hold function allows you to lock the displayed weight, which is useful when weighing large or irregularly shaped items that might obscure the display.
- Place the item on the weighing platform.
- Once the weight stabilizes, press the HOLD button. The displayed weight will be locked.
- You can now remove the item and read the locked weight. Press HOLD again to release the function.

Image: Visual examples demonstrating the 'Hold' function, which keeps the reading even after an item is removed, and the 'Tare' function, which allows for obtaining the net weight of an item by zeroing out the container's weight.
Auto-Off Setting
The scale features an auto-off function to conserve battery life. It can be set to turn off automatically after 180 or 300 seconds of inactivity, or remain on continuously (0s setting). Refer to the display unit's controls for adjusting this setting.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the scale platform and display unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Storage: Store the scale in a dry, cool place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Its slim design allows for easy storage.
- Battery Replacement: If the display becomes dim or shows a low battery indicator, replace the batteries in the wireless LCD display unit.
- Calibration: While the scale is factory calibrated, periodic calibration may be necessary to maintain accuracy over time. Refer to the product's full manual or contact customer support for calibration procedures if needed.
