5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Initial Inspection

Before installation, inspect the battery for any visible damage. Ensure terminals are clean and free of debris.

5.2 Connection Guidelines

5.3 Mounting

Mount the battery in a stable, well-ventilated area, away from direct heat or moisture. Ensure it is secured to prevent movement during operation, especially in mobile applications like RVs or marine vessels.

6. Operation

6.1 Charging

  • Use a LiFePO4 compatible charger with appropriate voltage and current settings.
  • The integrated BMS will protect against overcharging. However, using a charger specifically designed for LiFePO4 batteries is crucial for optimal performance and lifespan.
  • Avoid charging the battery below 0°C (32°F) as the BMS will prevent it to protect the cells.

6.2 Discharging

  • The battery can be discharged up to 100% Depth of Discharge (DOD) without significant damage, thanks to its robust LiFePO4 chemistry and BMS.
  • The BMS will automatically cut off power if the voltage drops too low, preventing over-discharge.
  • Avoid operating the battery below -20°C (-4°F).

7. Maintenance
