1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Fangflower Electric Glass Kettle. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new appliance. Please read it thoroughly before first use and keep it for future reference.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.

4. Setup

1. Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
2. Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface.
3. Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX line (1.7L), boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residue.
4. Ensure the kettle is securely placed on its power base.

5. Operating Instructions

Filling the Kettle:

• Press the lid release button to open the lid.
• Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not fill below the MIN (0.5L) line or above the MAX (1.7L) line.
• Close the lid securely until it clicks.

Boiling Water:

1. Place the kettle onto its power base.
2. Plug the power base into a standard electrical outlet.
3. Select your desired temperature preset using the controls on the handle. The LED indicator lights will change color according to the selected temperature.
4. Press the START button to begin heating. The kettle will automatically shut off once the selected temperature is reached.

Using the Tea Infuser:

• Open the lid and insert the removable tea infuser into the kettle.
• Add your desired amount of loose leaf tea into the infuser.
• Fill the kettle with water and select the appropriate temperature for your tea.
• Once the water is heated, allow the tea to steep for the recommended time.
• Carefully remove the infuser using its handle.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

General Cleaning:

• Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• The tea infuser can be removed and rinsed under running water.
• Do not immerse the kettle or its power base in water or any other liquid.

Descaling:

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle over time, affecting performance. Descale your kettle regularly, especially in hard water areas.

1. Fill the kettle with 0.5L of water and add a descaling solution (e.g., citric acid or white vinegar).
2. Boil the solution and let it stand for 15-20 minutes.
3. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
