4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation & Charging

The TD-H3 comes with two 2500mAh Li-ion battery packs. Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged. You can charge the battery directly via the USB-C port on the battery pack or by placing the radio with the battery installed into the desktop charger.

4.2 Antenna Installation

Carefully screw the provided antenna into the SMA male port on top of the radio. Ensure it is tightened securely but do not overtighten. The package includes a 6.1-inch stock antenna and a 15.12-inch 771 AM antenna for different frequency ranges.
