Step 4: Place Wooden Slats

Lay the wooden slats across the bed frame. The slats feature a Velcro design for quick installation and to prevent movement and noise. Ensure all slats are evenly spaced and securely attached.

Step 5: Final Tightening

Once all components are in place and aligned, fully tighten all bolts using the provided Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions

Mattress Placement

Place your mattress directly onto the wooden slats. No box spring is needed for this bed frame. The sturdy wooden slats provide ample support for various mattress types, including latex, memory foam, or spring mattresses.

Adjusting Headboard Height

The headboard is height-adjustable to accommodate different mattress thicknesses. To adjust, loosen the bolts connecting the headboard to the side rails, slide the headboard to your desired height (between 41.7 and 47.7 inches), and then re-tighten the bolts securely.

Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your VECELO bed frame, follow these care instructions:

  • Cleaning: The upholstered parts of the bed frame should be dry cleaned only. For minor spills, gently blot with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
  • Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the bed frame to prevent undue stress on any single point.
  • Moving the Bed: When moving the bed frame, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the legs and frame structure.
