4. Setup
Before using your ladder, some minor assembly may be required, primarily attaching the stabilizer bar and hooks.
4.1 Attaching the Stabilizer Bar
- Unpack all components and identify the main ladder body and the stabilizer bar.
- Locate the designated slots at the bottom of the ladder for the stabilizer bar.
- Carefully insert the stabilizer bar into the slots. Ensure it is fully seated and secured. Some force or a rubber mallet may be needed to fully secure the bar and its rubber grips.
4.2 Attaching the Detachable Hooks
- Identify the two detachable hooks.
- Align the hooks with the attachment points at the top of the ladder.
- Slide or click the hooks into place until they are securely fastened.
- The hooks can be rotated 360 degrees to accommodate various surfaces.
5. Operation
5.1 Extending the Ladder
- Place the ladder on a firm, level surface.
- Starting from the bottom rung, pull each section upwards until it locks into place with an audible click.
- Continue extending sections one by one until the desired height is reached.
- Crucially, ensure all locking pins on each rung are fully extended and engaged before climbing.
5.2 Retracting the Ladder
- Ensure the ladder is on a stable surface and no one is on it.
- Locate the release buttons or levers on each rung.
- Starting from the top, press the release mechanisms on both sides of a rung simultaneously. The section will retract downwards.
- Exercise extreme caution to keep fingers and hands clear of the collapsing sections to prevent pinching. Allow the section to retract slowly and controlled.
- Continue this process for each section until the ladder is fully collapsed.
5.3 Using the Hooks
The detachable hooks provide additional security when leaning the ladder against a structure, such as a roof edge, wall, or vehicle. Ensure the hooks are securely attached to the ladder and properly engaged with the support surface before climbing.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will prolong the life of your telescoping ladder and ensure its safe operation.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the ladder with a damp cloth after use to remove dirt, dust, or debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the aluminum or plastic components.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a silicone-based lubricant to the sliding mechanisms and locking pins to ensure smooth extension and retraction.
- Inspection: Regularly check all rungs, locking mechanisms, feet, and hooks for signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Pay close attention to the integrity of the aluminum tubes and nylon components.
- Storage: Store the ladder in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Its compact size allows for convenient storage in a trunk, garage, or closet.
