Setup and Activation
To use your MiFi 8800L, a data plan is required. Follow these steps to activate your device with Verizon.

- Gather Necessary Information: Locate your device's IMEI number and the SIM Card ICCID number. These are typically found on the device's packaging box or by removing the battery (IMEI) and on the SIM card itself (ICCID).
- Begin Activation: Visit Verizon's Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) page (e.g., verizon.com/bring-your-own-device). Scroll to the bottom and click "Connect with an expert" or similar option.
- Provide Details to the Live Agent: Inform the agent you have purchased a Mobile Hotspot bundled with a Verizon SIM card and request assistance in purchasing a suitable data plan.
- Customer Identification: Indicate if you are a new or existing Verizon customer. The agent will guide you through verification.
- Mobile Number Assignment: Provide the IMEI and ICCID. The agent will assign a mobile number to your SIM Card ICCID.
- Complete Payment and Activation: The agent will provide payment options for your chosen data plan. After payment, restart your device. Activation typically takes 1-2 hours but can take up to 24 hours.
- Start Using Your Hotspot: Once activated, your Mobile Hotspot is ready for use with your new prepaid data plan.
Note: Mobile internet requires a data plan. Review operator rates carefully as they may differ from phone rates.
Operation
Connecting Devices
To connect your devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets) to the MiFi 8800L:
- Ensure the MiFi 8800L is powered on.
- On your device, search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Select the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) displayed on the MiFi's screen.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password (key) also displayed on the MiFi's screen.
- Your device should now be connected to the internet via the MiFi hotspot.

Battery Management
The MiFi 8800L is equipped with a 4400 mAh battery, providing up to 10 hours of active use and 24 hours of standby time. Integrated VPN Functionality
