3. Assembly and Initial Setup

Proper assembly is crucial for safe and efficient operation. Follow these steps carefully.

3.1 Installing the Guide Bar and Chain:

  1. Remove the black washer after removing the clutch cover.
  2. Install the guide bar and place the chain into the groove, ensuring the cutting direction is correct.
  3. Make sure the chain inserts the drive sprocket well.
  4. Steer the adjuster pin to the bar hole.
  5. Finger tighten the bar nuts.
  6. Adjust the tensioner screw to fit the guide bar hole, checking that the chain turns well before starting the chainsaw.
  7. Please check the correct hole of the clutch cover's screw on the guide bar; the bigger hole is the correct one.
  8. Tighten the saw chain clockwise.
  9. Test the saw chain for proper tension.
  10. Finally, tighten the bar nuts securely with the provided tools.

3.2 Fuel and Oil Filling:

4.1 Starting a Cold Engine:

  1. Push the brake forward until it clicks into the engaged position.
  2. Open the engine (up) / pull the choke out fully.
  3. Pull the starter handle a maximum of 6 times until the engine briefly fires.
  4. Push the choke back fully (in).
  5. Pull the starter until the engine starts.
  6. Pull the brake forward and hold the throttle trigger to disengage the brake.

4.2 Starting a Warm Engine:

For a warm engine, follow steps 1, 3, and 6 from the cold start procedure.
