Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Keyboard
To clean your keyboard, power it off and disconnect it from any devices. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. For deeper cleaning, use the included keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps and clean underneath them with compressed air or a small brush. Ensure all components are dry before reassembling and powering on.
2. Keycap Removal
Use the provided keycap puller to remove keycaps. Gently place the puller over the keycap and pull upwards evenly. Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the keycap or switch.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not connecting via 2.4GHz: Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Confirm the keyboard is switched to 2.4GHz mode (Fn + Q). Check battery levels.
- Keyboard not connecting via Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is in pairing mode (Fn + W or Fn + E). Try forgetting the device on your computer and re-pairing. Check battery levels.
- Keys not responding or lagging: Ensure the keyboard is fully charged or has fresh batteries. If using wireless modes, ensure there are no significant obstructions or interference between the keyboard and receiver/device. Try reconnecting the keyboard.
- Incorrect key functions (Windows/Mac): Verify the OS paddle switch on the keyboard is set to the correct operating system (Windows or Mac).
- Short battery life: Ensure you are using fresh, high-quality AAA batteries. The keyboard's non-backlit design is optimized for long battery life, but usage patterns can affect duration.
