4. Setup and Installation

The eMylo WiFi Motion Sensor comes with pre-installed batteries. To activate and pair the device:

1. Remove the insulating tabs from the battery compartment. The device is now ready for use.
2. Download the Smart Life App or Tuya App from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).
3. Open the app and register/log in.
4. Add a new device by selecting 'Sensors' then 'Motion Detector (Wi-Fi)'.
5. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. If your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, ensure you are connected to the 2.4 GHz band during pairing.
6. The LED indicator on the sensor should be blinking quickly. If not, use the supplied S/S Pin to press the reset button until the indicator blinks quickly, or press and hold for 5 seconds.
