- Dust Removal: Use compressed air to blow away dust and debris from between the keycaps and switches.
- Deep Cleaning: For a more thorough clean, carefully remove the keycaps using the provided keycap puller. Clean the exposed switches and plate with a soft brush or compressed air. Wipe down the keycaps with a mild soap and water solution, rinse thoroughly, and ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
4.2 Switch and Keycap Care
- Avoid excessive force when removing or installing switches and keycaps to prevent damage to the stems or sockets.
- Store spare switches and keycaps in a dry, dust-free environment.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Connectivity Issues
- Keyboard Not Responding: Ensure the power switch under the Caps Lock key is in the 'ON' position. Check the battery level.
- Wired Connection: Try a different USB-C cable or USB port on your computer.
- 2.4G Wireless Connection: Ensure the 2.4GHz receiver is securely plugged in. Try a different USB port. Move the keyboard closer to the receiver to rule out interference.
- Bluetooth Connection: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Re-enter pairing mode on the keyboard and re-pair with your device. Remove previous pairings from your device's Bluetooth settings if issues persist.
5.2 RGB Lighting Problems
- Lights Not On: Check if RGB lighting is enabled via function keys or VIA software. Ensure the keyboard has sufficient battery charge.
- Incorrect Colors/Effects: Reset RGB settings through VIA software or cycle through modes using keyboard shortcuts.
5.3 Key Input Issues
- Key Not Registering: Carefully remove the keycap and switch. Inspect the switch for any bent pins. Reinsert the switch firmly. If the issue persists, try replacing the switch with one of the spare switches.
- Incorrect Key Output: If you have remapped keys using VIA, ensure the correct layout is loaded. Reset to default settings if necessary.
