Electric Power Washer User Manual

Brand: GREEN PARTY | Model: TL-P001

1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your GREEN PARTY Electric Power Washer. This powerful unit delivers 1600 PSI water pressure and 1.71 GPM water flow, designed for comprehensive cleaning across various surfaces including cars, fences, patios, and gardens. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

Always observe basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

  • Electrical Safety: The power washer incorporates GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protection and built-in overheating protections for enhanced safety. Always connect to a properly grounded outlet. Do not use with damaged cords or plugs.
  • Total Stop System (TSS) & Safety Lock: The unit features a Safety Automatic Total Stop System (TSS) which automatically turns off the pump when the trigger is not in use, conserving energy and extending pump life. Always engage the safety lock on the trigger gun when not spraying to prevent accidental discharge.
  • Personal Protection: Always wear appropriate eye protection (safety glasses or goggles) and protective clothing when operating the pressure washer. Do not direct the spray at people, pets, or electrical devices.
  • Water Connection: Ensure the water supply is clean and free of debris. Do not use hot water.
  • Chemical Use: Use only detergents specifically designed for pressure washers. Follow detergent manufacturer's instructions for mixing and application.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your pressure washer for use:

  1. Attach Handle: Secure the handle to the main unit.
  2. Connect High-Pressure Hose: Connect one end of the high-pressure hose to the outlet on the pressure washer unit and the other end to the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight.
  3. Connect Water Supply:
    • Faucet Connection: Attach a garden hose (not included) to the water inlet on the pressure washer and then to a standard outdoor faucet. Ensure the garden hose is at least 5/8 inch in diameter and no longer than 50 feet.
    • Bucket Self-Priming: For areas without a direct faucet, the unit supports self-priming from a bucket. Ensure the bucket contains sufficient clean water and the inlet hose is fully submerged.
  4. Attach Nozzle/Accessory: Select the desired nozzle or attachment (e.g., 360° adjustable nozzle, 4-in-1 nozzle, surface cleaner) and securely attach it to the spray gun.
  5. Fill Foam Cannon (Optional): If using the foam cannon, fill the 400 ml soap bottle with appropriate pressure washer detergent and attach it to the spray gun.
  6. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Before starting, ensure all connections are secure and the water supply is turned on.

  1. Purge Air: Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to allow water to flow through the system and purge any air. Continue until a steady stream of water emerges.
  2. Turn On Power: Switch the power washer to the "ON" position. The motor will start when the trigger is squeezed and stop when released (TSS feature).
  3. Adjust Nozzle/Select Mode:
    • 360° Adjustable Pressure Nozzle: Rotate the nozzle to adjust the spray pattern from a concentrated stream to a wider fan. This allows for cleaning hard-to-reach areas like high ceilings or car bottoms.
    • 4-in-1 Nozzle: If equipped, rotate the nozzle head to select between 0° (High Pressure Direct Shoot for tiny gaps), 15° (High-Pressure Injection for stubborn stains), 25° (Normal Mode for car body washing), and 40° (Fan Mode for large area cleaning).
  4. Apply Detergent (with Foam Cannon): If using the foam cannon, ensure it is attached and filled. The pressure washer will draw detergent from the bottle and mix it with the water, creating dense foam for thorough cleaning.
  5. Use Surface Cleaner Attachment: For large flat surfaces like patios and driveways, attach the surface cleaner. This accessory provides a wide, even spray pattern for efficient cleaning without streaks.
  6. Cleaning Technique: Hold the spray gun firmly with both hands. Start spraying a few feet away from the surface and gradually move closer until the desired cleaning effect is achieved. Maintain a consistent distance for even cleaning.
  7. After Use: Turn off the power washer. Turn off the water supply. Squeeze the trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system. Disconnect the garden hose and high-pressure hose.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer.

  • Cleaning the Unit: Wipe down the exterior of the pressure washer with a damp cloth after each use. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Nozzle Cleaning: If the nozzle becomes clogged, use the included nozzle cleaning tool (if applicable) or a small wire to clear any debris.
  • Water Inlet Filter: Periodically check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.
  • Storage: Store the pressure washer in a dry, frost-free area. Disconnect all hoses and drain any remaining water from the pump and hoses to prevent freezing damage.
  • Winterization: For prolonged storage in freezing temperatures, it is recommended to use a pump protector or non-toxic antifreeze solution to prevent internal damage.
