3. Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are clean and dry. The grinder comes pre-assembled. No complex setup is required.

3.1 Grind Adjustment

The Bincoo grinder features an external adjustable grind scale with 9 precision settings. Each notch on the scale is equivalent to 10 notches on a standard grinder, offering fine control over your grind size.

• To adjust the grind size, rotate the digital control valve upstream of the fuselage.
• Rotating clockwise towards '1' will result in a finer grind (e.g., for espresso).
• Rotating counter-clockwise towards '9' will result in a coarser grind (e.g., for French press).
• The 'ORIGIN' point is reached by rotating fully clockwise to the thinnest limit.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Grinding Process

Follow these steps to grind your coffee beans:

1. Prepare Beans: Weigh your desired amount of whole coffee beans. The generous bean hopper accommodates up to 20g of coffee beans.

2. Load Beans: Open the top cover and pour the weighed coffee beans into the bean hopper.
3. Close and Secure: Close the handle top cover. Ensure the foldable handle is extended and securely positioned for grinding. The magnetic positioning handle helps keep it stable.

4. Grind: Hold the grinder firmly by its anti-slip body and rotate the handle clockwise to begin grinding. Continue until all beans have passed through the burr and into the powder cup.

5. Collect Grounds: Unscrew the powder cup from the bottom of the grinder to access your freshly ground coffee.

4.2 Grinding Mechanism

The grinder is equipped with a premium six-star CNC steel burr and a three-axis bearing structure. This design ensures a uniformly ground coffee texture, contributing to a rich and consistent flavor profile. The burr's hardness reaches 55-58 HRC for durability.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the best performance and extends the life of your grinder.

• Disassembly: The grinder can be easily disassembled for thorough cleaning. Carefully unscrew the powder cup, then remove the burr assembly.
• Cleaning the Burr: Use a soft brush (a small cleaning brush is often included or can be purchased separately) to remove any residual coffee grounds from the burr and internal components.
• Washing: The aluminum alloy body and powder cup can be wiped with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive materials. Do not immerse the entire grinder in water.
• Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the grinder.
• Reassembly: Carefully reassemble the burr and powder cup, ensuring all parts are securely fastened.

6. Troubleshooting

• Grinding Difficulty: Ensure the grind setting is not too fine for the type of beans being used. Very fine settings can increase resistance. Check for any foreign objects in the burr.
