4. Installation Instructions (Setup)
This fixture can be installed with the lights facing upwards or downwards.
- Prepare for Installation:
- Turn off the power at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
- Ensure you have all necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, etc.) and the included mounting hardware.
- Mount the Back Plate:
- Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box in your wall using the provided screws.
- Secure the fixture's back plate to the mounting bracket.
- Wire the Fixture:
- Connect the fixture's black wire to the house's black (live) wire.
- Connect the fixture's white wire to the house's white (neutral) wire.
- Connect the fixture's ground wire to the house's ground wire (usually bare copper or green).
- Secure all connections with wire nuts and ensure no bare wires are exposed.
- Attach the Fixture Body:
- Carefully push the wired fixture body onto the mounting bracket and secure it with the provided screws or nuts.
- Install Glass Shades:
- Carefully place each glass shade over the bulb socket and secure it with the retaining ring.
- Install Bulbs:
- Screw E26 base bulbs (not included) into each socket. Do not overtighten.
- Restore Power:
- Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
- Test the light fixture.
