5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Dry Vacuuming
- Ensure the washable cloth filter is securely installed.
- Connect the hose and desired dry cleaning attachment (e.g., floor brush for general debris, crevice nozzle for tight spaces).
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (120V).
- Press the power switch to turn on the vacuum cleaner.
- Guide the nozzle over the dry surface to pick up dust, dirt, and debris.
- After use, turn off the vacuum and unplug it.
5.2 Wet Vacuuming
- Remove the cloth filter before wet vacuuming. The filter is not designed for wet use and can be damaged.
- Connect the hose and a suitable wet cleaning attachment (e.g., floor brush without bristles for liquid pickup).
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (120V).
- Press the power switch to turn on the vacuum cleaner.
- Guide the nozzle over the liquid spill to suction it into the canister.
- Do not overfill the canister. The vacuum has a float mechanism that will shut off suction when the liquid reaches its maximum level. If this occurs, turn off the vacuum, unplug it, and empty the canister.
- After use, turn off the vacuum and unplug it. Empty and clean the canister immediately.
5.3 Blower Function
The vacuum cleaner can also function as a blower to clear debris from surfaces.
- Disconnect the flexible hose from the suction inlet.
- Locate the blower port on the top of the motor housing (usually opposite the suction inlet).
- Insert the flexible hose into the blower port and twist to secure.
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
- Press the power switch to turn on the vacuum cleaner. Air will now exit through the hose, allowing you to blow away debris.
- After use, turn off the vacuum and unplug it.
