Thank you for choosing the FAMIDUO Capybara Night Light. This product is designed to provide a soft, comforting glow, perfect for children's rooms, nurseries, or as a gentle bedside lamp. Made from safe, squishy silicone, it features dimmable light settings and a convenient timer function. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and maintenance.

Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the night light using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the charging port on the bottom of the Capybara Night Light and the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer port. The light will indicate charging status (e.g., a red indicator light). Once fully charged, the indicator light may change or turn off.

2. Power On/Off and Mode Selection

Locate the switch on the bottom of the night light. This switch allows you to select between three modes:

• OFF: Turns the night light completely off.
• 20': Activates the 20-minute auto-off timer mode. The light will turn off automatically after 20 minutes.
• ON (Sun icon): Keeps the night light continuously on until manually turned off.

Operating Instructions

1. Turning On/Off and Adjusting Brightness (Tap Control)

Once the bottom switch is set to either the '20'' timer mode or the 'ON' mode, you can control the light by tapping or pinching the silicone body:

• First Tap/Pinch: Turns the light on to a soft, dim glow (Low-Sleep Aid).
• Second Tap/Pinch: Increases the brightness to a brighter ambient light (Height-Ambient Light).
• Third Tap/Pinch: Turns the light off.

2. Timer Function

When the bottom switch is set to '20'', the night light will automatically turn off after 20 minutes of operation. This is ideal for helping children fall asleep without the light remaining on all night.

3. Hair Styling (Capybara with Hair model only)

If you have the Capybara with Hair model, you can style its hair using the included hair ties. This feature is for decorative and playful purposes. Please refer to the video below for a demonstration.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the silicone body, wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.

Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in constant use. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on:
  • Ensure the power switch on the bottom is set to '20'' or 'ON'.
  • Check if the battery is charged. Connect to a power source using the USB-C cable.
  • Tap or pinch the silicone body to activate the light.
• Light does not respond to tapping:
  • Verify the bottom switch is not in the 'OFF' position.
  • Ensure the surface is clean and free from obstructions.
• Light turns off unexpectedly:
  • If the switch is set to '20'', the light will turn off after 20 minutes as designed.
  • The battery might be low. Recharge the device.
