Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your food processor.
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: All accessories except the motor base are dishwasher safe. Ensure the water temperature does not exceed 140°F (60°C). Use an appropriate amount of detergent.

- Blade Handling: Always handle blades with extreme caution. Use blade covers for safe storage.
Troubleshooting
If your food processor is not operating as expected, check the following:
- Appliance Not Starting: Ensure the bowl is twisted clockwise until it is fully locked to the base. Verify that the black arrow on the bowl aligns with the lock pattern. Then, ensure the lid is twisted clockwise until it clicks and locks to the bowl, and the pins of the food pusher are correctly inserted. The double locking protection must be engaged for the appliance to power on.
- Motor Overheating: If the motor stops during operation, it may be due to overheating. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes before attempting to use it again. Reduce the load or process ingredients in smaller batches.
- Inconsistent Processing: Ensure you are using the correct blade or disc for the type of food and desired texture. Process ingredients in appropriate quantities to allow for proper circulation within the bowl.
