- Cleaning: Wipe down the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Lubrication: Moving parts generally do not require lubrication. If any mechanism feels stiff, consult customer support.
- Storage: Store the tripod in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and dust. Collapse the legs and head fully for compact storage.
Troubleshooting
- Tripod is unstable: Ensure all leg section clamps are fully tightened and the legs are spread to their maximum stable angle. Check that the quick release plate is securely attached to both the camera and the tripod head.
- Camera movement is not smooth: Check that the pan and tilt lock knobs are sufficiently loosened. Clean any dust or debris from the head mechanisms.
- Legs won't extend/retract: Ensure leg clamps are fully disengaged. Check for any obstructions or damage to the leg sections.
