2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Inserting the SIM Card

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Locate the SIM card slot on the device.
  3. Carefully insert a standard-sized SIM card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the SIM card is oriented correctly as indicated on the device or in the slot.

4.2 Charging the Device

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the USB charging port on the hotspot.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The battery indicator will show charging status. A full charge typically provides 4 to 8 hours of operation.

4.3 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button for a few seconds until the indicators light up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button for a few seconds until the indicators turn off.

5. Operating the Hotspot

5.1 Connecting Devices via Wi-Fi

  1. Ensure the mobile hotspot is powered on and has a stable network signal (check the Signal Strength Indicator).
  2. On your Wi-Fi enabled device (e.g., smartphone, laptop, tablet), search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  3. Select the network name (SSID) of your Jiawu Mobile Hotspot. The SSID and default password are usually found on a sticker inside the battery compartment or on the device itself.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
  5. Your device should now be connected to the internet through the hotspot. The hotspot supports up to 10 connected devices simultaneously.

5.2 Network Compatibility and Speed

  • The hotspot supports 4G LTE bands B1/3/5/8/38/39/40/41 and 3G UMTS bands B1/5/8.
  • It provides download speeds of up to 150Mbps, offering a fast and stable internet experience.
  • Note: This device does not support 5G networks. While it may work with a 5G phone SIM card, it will operate on the available 4G network.
