5. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your ZJXDPBF Bar Stool. It is recommended to assemble the stools on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.

1. Attach Seat to Frame: Align the seat cushion with the metal frame. Secure it using the provided screws from the hardware pack. Ensure all screws are tightened firmly.
2. Install Gas Lift: Insert the wider end of the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the base plate. Ensure it is seated firmly.
3. Attach Footrest: Slide the footrest ring over the gas lift cylinder. The footrest should rest on the lower part of the gas lift.
4. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat (from step 1) onto the top, narrower end of the gas lift cylinder. Press down firmly to secure it.
5. Final Check: Once assembled, gently test the stool for stability. Ensure all connections are secure before use.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Height Adjustment

To adjust the height of the bar stool:

• To Raise: While standing, pull the lever located under the seat upwards. The seat will automatically rise. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.
• To Lower: While seated, pull the lever located under the seat upwards. The seat will lower under your weight. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.

The height can be adjusted between 63 cm and 84 cm (24.8 inches to 33.1 inches).

6.2. Rotation

The stool features a 360° rotation function. Simply turn the seat in the desired direction. The stool also has an automatic locking function to maintain position when not actively rotating.

  Ensure the gas lift lever is fully engaged. Check if the plastic cap on the top of the gas lift cylinder (if present) has been removed during assembly. If the issue persists, the gas lift cylinder may be faulty and require replacement.

• Stool is wobbly:

  Check all assembly screws and bolts, especially those connecting the seat to the frame and the base to the gas lift. Tighten any loose fasteners. Ensure the stool is on a flat, even surface.

• Squeaking noise during rotation:

  A small amount of lubricant (e.g., silicone spray) applied to the rotating mechanism under the seat may resolve squeaking. Avoid over-lubricating.
