5. Setup & Charging

5.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the battery for at least 2 hours to activate the device and ensure optimal performance.

5.2 Charging Instructions

1. Locate the USB charging port on the device.
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the port on the cutter.
3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible power source, such as a wall adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
4. The power level indicator will show the charging status. A red light typically indicates charging, while a green light indicates a full charge.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Activating the Cutter

1. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged.
2. Hold the cutter firmly with one hand.
3. Press and hold the safety button located on the side of the handle.
4. While holding the safety button, press the ON/OFF trigger switch.
5. Once the blade starts rotating, you can release the safety button. The cutter will continue to operate as long as the ON/OFF switch is pressed.

6.2 Cutting Materials

1. Place the material to be cut on a stable, flat surface.
2. Activate the cutter as described above.
3. Gently guide the rotating blade along the desired cutting line. Apply light, consistent pressure.
4. Allow the blade to do the work; do not force the cutter through materials.
5. For optimal results, ensure the material is flat and free of obstructions.

6.3 Material Compatibility

The SakerPlus Cordless Electric Rotary Cutter is suitable for materials up to 0.23 inches (approximately 6mm) thick. Ideal materials include:

Note: This tool is not suitable for very thick, dense, or industrial-grade materials. Attempting to cut unsuitable materials may damage the tool or result in poor cutting performance.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: After each use, ensure the device is turned off and disconnected from any charging cable. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the body of the cutter. Carefully remove any material debris from around the blade area.
• Blade Care: The SK1806G blade is designed to be self-sharpening. However, if you notice a decrease in cutting performance, inspect the blade for damage or excessive wear. Replacement blades are available from SakerPlus.
