2. Safety Information

  • Chemical Use: Do not use acidic agricultural chemicals inside or on the plastic cover. Acidic chemicals can react with the alkaline plastic cover, potentially causing damage and reducing the lifespan of the greenhouse.
  • Assembly: Assembly requires at least two people for safety and efficiency. Ensure all components are correctly installed and secured.
  • Stability: Always secure the greenhouse firmly to the ground using the provided wind ropes and pegs. Bury the 15 cm extended edges of the cover deep into the ground to enhance stability and prevent rainwater accumulation.
  • Wind Conditions: While designed for stability, extreme wind conditions may require additional securing measures or temporary disassembly. The greenhouse has a wind resistance level of 3.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the frame and cover for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Address any issues promptly to maintain structural integrity.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all components listed below are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer support.

  • 1 x Galvanised Steel Frame Set
  • 1 x PE Plastic Cover (140 g/m²)
  • 4 x Pull Ropes
  • 4 x Ground Pegs
  • All necessary connectors and fasteners

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps for proper assembly. It is recommended to have at least two people for this process.

  1. Site Selection: Choose a level, well-drained area for your greenhouse. Ensure adequate space around the structure for access and maintenance.
  2. Frame Assembly: Assemble the galvanised steel frame according to the included diagram (not provided in this manual, refer to product packaging for detailed diagrams). Ensure all connections are secure. The frame includes two additional slanted support poles for enhanced stability.
  3. Cover Installation: Carefully drape the PE plastic cover over the assembled steel frame. Ensure the cover is centered and evenly distributed.
  4. Securing the Cover: The cover features 15 cm extended edges. Bury these edges deep into the ground around the perimeter of the greenhouse. This action helps to tension the film, prevent rainwater accumulation, and significantly improve stability against wind.
  5. Anchoring: Use the provided 4 wind ropes and 4 ground pegs to further secure the greenhouse. Attach the ropes to designated points on the frame and anchor them firmly into the ground.

5. Operating Instructions

Proper operation ensures optimal plant growth and extends the life of your greenhouse.

  • Access Door: The greenhouse features a roll-up door with a zipper. Fully open the door to facilitate easy access for plant care, transportation of materials, and working with tools.
  • Ventilation: Eight mesh windows are integrated into the cover. These windows can be rolled up to provide excellent air circulation, which is crucial for preventing overheating and managing humidity. They also serve as viewing windows to monitor your plants without entering the greenhouse.
  • Climate Control: The fully enclosed, waterproof, and UV-resistant plastic cover helps retain humidity, which is beneficial for tropical plants. It also allows high-energy sunlight to pass through, promoting photosynthesis. Adjust ventilation via the windows as needed based on external temperature and plant requirements.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and effectiveness of your greenhouse.

  • Cleaning: Clean the PE cover periodically with mild soap and water to remove dirt and debris, which can block sunlight. Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes that could damage the material.
  • Frame Inspection: Annually inspect the galvanised steel frame for any signs of rust, bending, or loose connections. Tighten any loose bolts or replace damaged parts as necessary.
  • Cover Inspection: Check the plastic cover for tears, punctures, or excessive wear. Small tears can often be repaired with specialized greenhouse repair tape. Replace severely damaged covers.
  • Anchoring Check: Regularly verify that the wind ropes and ground pegs are securely in place, especially after strong winds or heavy rainfall. Re-tension ropes if they become loose.

7. Troubleshooting

Address common issues to maintain optimal greenhouse performance.

  • Greenhouse Instability: If the greenhouse feels unstable, ensure the 15 cm extended edges of the cover are properly buried and the 4 wind ropes and pegs are securely anchored. In areas prone to very strong winds, consider adding additional anchoring points or reinforcing the base with heavy objects.
  • Poor Ventilation: If plants show signs of overheating or excessive humidity, ensure all 8 mesh windows are fully open. Check for any obstructions blocking airflow.
  • Water Accumulation on Cover: Ensure the cover is taut and the extended edges are properly buried to prevent sagging and water pooling. Adjust frame components if necessary to maintain proper tension.
  • Cover Damage: Small tears can be patched with appropriate repair tape. For significant damage, consider replacing the cover to maintain frost protection and UV resistance.
