1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the COUGAR-EGY T29 wired controller, compatible with PlayStation 4 (PS4, PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim) and PC (Windows 10/8). This controller features a 6-axis gyroscope, dual motor vibration, a touch panel, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and programmable buttons for an enhanced gaming experience.

4. Setup

4.1 Connecting to PlayStation 4 (PS4 / PS4 Pro / PS4 Slim)

  1. Ensure your PS4 console is powered on.
  2. Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the COUGAR-EGY T29 controller.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your PS4 console.
  4. The controller will automatically be recognized and connected. The light bar on the controller will illuminate to indicate a successful connection.

4.2 Connecting to PC (Windows 10/8)

  1. Ensure your PC is powered on.
  2. Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the COUGAR-EGY T29 controller.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your PC.
  4. Your PC will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. This may take a few moments.
  5. Once drivers are installed, the controller is ready for use with compatible PC games.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 6-Axis Gyroscope and Dual Vibration

The controller features a built-in 6-axis gyroscope for motion sensing and dual motors for vibration feedback. These functions are automatically enabled in compatible games, providing immersive and realistic gaming experiences.

5.2 Touch Panel

The central touch panel supports various gestures and inputs depending on the game. Refer to your game's instructions for specific touch panel functionalities.

5.3 3.5mm Headphone Jack

Plug any standard 3.5mm headset into the jack located at the bottom of the controller for in-game audio and voice chat (if supported by the headset and game/system).

5.4 Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows for continuous rapid firing of a button. To activate:

  1. Press and hold the Turbo button (often indicated by a fan or speed icon, located near the analog sticks).
  2. While holding Turbo, press the desired action button (e.g., Cross, Square, R1, R2) you wish to set for continuous firing.
  3. Release both buttons. The selected button will now activate Turbo mode when pressed.

To deactivate Turbo for a specific button, repeat the process: hold Turbo and press the button again.

The extra multi-function buttons on the back of the controller can be programmed to perform sequences of actions or mimic other buttons.
