1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your FOGGBET Cordless Electric Lawn Trimmer.

1. Attach the Extended Pole: Connect the extended pole to the main trimmer unit. Ensure it clicks securely into place. Refer to the diagram for proper alignment.
2. Install the Grass Shield: Slide the grass shield onto the trimmer head until it is firmly seated. This shield protects against flying debris.
3. Mount the Blade: Carefully attach the alloy blade to the trimmer head using the provided tools and fasteners. Ensure the blade is oriented correctly and tightened securely. Warning: The blade is sharp. Handle with extreme care.
4. Adjust the Auxiliary Handle: Position the auxiliary handle to a comfortable height and angle for your grip. Tighten the adjustment knob to secure it.
5. Attach the Shoulder Strap: Connect the shoulder strap to the designated attachment points on the trimmer. Adjust the strap length for comfortable weight distribution during operation.
6. Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the 24V / 6Ah Lithium Battery using the provided power adapter. Insert the battery into the charging port and wait for the indicator light to show a full charge.
7. Insert the Battery: Once charged, insert the battery into the battery compartment on the trimmer unit until it locks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these guidelines for safe and effective operation of your lawn trimmer.

1. Pre-Operation Check:
   • Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted.
   • Verify all components are properly assembled and tightened.
   • Inspect the blade for any damage or wear.
   • Clear the work area of any obstacles.
   • Wear all recommended PPE.
2. Starting the Trimmer:

   To start the trimmer, press and hold the safety switch (if applicable) and then press the power trigger. The concealed switch at the handle is designed for single-click activation.

3. Trimming Technique:

   Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands, using the main and auxiliary handles. Maintain a balanced stance. Swing the trimmer in a smooth, sweeping motion, cutting small amounts of grass at a time. Avoid hitting hard surfaces or objects with the blade.

4. Stopping the Trimmer:

   Release the power trigger to stop the trimmer. The blade will cease rotation. Always remove the battery when not in use or before making adjustments.
5. Using the Shoulder Strap:

   The included shoulder strap helps distribute the trimmer's weight, reducing fatigue during extended use. Adjust it for a comfortable fit that allows for easy maneuverability.

6. Extended Pole Use:

   The 1.7m/5.57ft extended pole allows for reaching high branches or difficult-to-access areas without excessive bending or stretching, reducing back strain.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: After each use, remove the battery and clean the trimmer. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. Remove any grass clippings or debris from the blade and grass shield. Do not use water or harsh chemicals.
• Blade Inspection: Regularly inspect the alloy blade for sharpness, cracks, bends, or other damage. A dull or damaged blade can reduce cutting efficiency and increase vibration. Replace the blade if necessary.
• Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Do not expose it to extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, it is recommended to store the battery with a partial charge (around 50%).
• Storage: Store the trimmer in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure it is out of reach of children and pets. The detachable design allows for compact storage.
