5. Installation Instructions

These VLAND LED Headlights are designed for direct replacement and are generally plug-and-play. However, professional installation is highly recommended to ensure correct wiring and alignment.

5.1 General Installation Steps

1. Preparation: Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected before beginning installation.
2. Remove Old Headlights: Carefully remove the existing headlights by unbolting them and disconnecting the wiring harnesses.
3. Connect New Headlights: Connect the new VLAND LED Headlights using the provided adapter harnesses. Ensure all connections are secure.
4. ACC Wire Harness: The included ACC wire harness is used to power the blue dynamic startup running lights. Refer to the 'ACC Connection Guide' video for detailed instructions on connecting this harness to your vehicle's fuse box.
5. High Beam Troubleshooting: If high beams do not activate after installation, check the adapter harness. It is possible the high beam plugs are inserted backward. Rotate the high beam plug 180 degrees and reinsert it to correct this issue.
6. Secure New Headlights: Mount the new headlights securely using the original mounting points.
7. Reconnect Battery: Reconnect the vehicle battery.
8. Test Functions: Test all headlight functions, including DRL, turn signals, low beam, high beam, and dynamic startup.
9. Alignment: Adjust the headlight aim as necessary using the adjustment screws located on the back of the headlight assembly.

• Daytime Running Lights (DRL): These lights illuminate automatically when the vehicle is on, enhancing daytime visibility.
• Blue Dynamic Startup: Upon vehicle startup, the headlights will display a distinctive blue dynamic light sequence.
• Sequential Turn Signals: When the turn signal is activated, the amber lights will illuminate in a sequential pattern, providing a modern and clear indication of your turning intentions.

Note: The sequential steering effect and the blue dynamic start effect are controlled by a selector line. Refer to the provided wiring diagram or consult a professional installer to choose whether to enable or disable these effects based on your preference and local regulations.

• Regular Cleaning: Clean the headlight lenses regularly with a soft cloth and mild automotive cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the lens material.
• Inspect for Damage: Periodically inspect the headlights for any signs of physical damage, cracks, or moisture intrusion. Although designed to be waterproof, severe impacts can compromise the seal.
• Wiring Check: Ensure all wiring connections remain secure and free from corrosion.
• Avoid High-Pressure Washing: When washing your vehicle, avoid directing high-pressure water jets directly at the headlight seals for extended periods.
