Setup
Charging the Device
The VIPERTEK VTS-881 features an internal rechargeable battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.
- Locate the charging port on the side of the device.
- Slide the charging plug out from the device.
- Connect the included charging cable to the device and a standard wall outlet (adapter not included).
- The indicator light will illuminate during charging.
- Charge for approximately 8 hours for a full charge. The indicator light may change or turn off when fully charged, depending on the model.
- It is recommended to charge the device once a month to maintain battery health, even if not used frequently.

Safety Switch
The device is equipped with a safety switch to prevent accidental discharge. Ensure the switch is in the "OFF" position when not in use. To operate the flashlight or stun gun, slide the switch to the "ON" position.
Using the LED Flashlight
- Slide the safety switch to the "ON" position.
- Press the dedicated flashlight button (often marked with a lightbulb icon) to activate the LED flashlight.
- Press the button again to turn off the flashlight.
Using the Stun Gun
The stun gun function is designed for immediate self-defense. The loud crackling sound alone can act as a deterrent.
- Slide the safety switch to the "ON" position.
- Press and hold the stun activation button (often marked with a lightning bolt icon).
- The stun electrodes at the top of the device will emit an electrical arc and a loud sound.
- To apply the stun, firmly press the electrodes against an attacker's body. A contact duration of 1-2 seconds is generally sufficient to cause muscle contraction and disorientation. Longer contact (3-5 seconds) can lead to loss of balance and muscle control.
- Release the stun activation button to stop the discharge.
- Immediately return the safety switch to the "OFF" position after use.

Maintenance
- Charging: Recharge the device monthly to ensure optimal battery performance.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the device with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
- Storage: Store the stun gun in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the safety switch is in the "OFF" position during storage.
