Setup: Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your VIPERTEK VTS-880. The device features an internal rechargeable battery, eliminating the need for disposable batteries.
- Ensure the safety switch is in the "OFF" position.
- Locate the charging port at the bottom of the device.
- Connect the provided charging cable to the device's charging port.
- Plug the other end of the charging cable into a standard wall outlet or a compatible USB power adapter.
- Allow the device to charge for approximately 8 hours for the initial charge. Subsequent charges may take less time.
- Unplug the device once charging is complete. Do not overcharge.

Operating Instructions
Using the LED Flashlight
- To turn on the LED flashlight, press the dedicated flashlight button located on the side of the device.
- Press the button again to turn off the flashlight.
Using the Stun Function
CAUTION: Use the stun function only in self-defense situations and in accordance with all applicable laws.
- Ensure the device is fully charged.
- Slide the safety switch from "OFF" to "ON" to arm the stun gun. A red indicator light may illuminate, signifying the device is armed.
- To activate the stun function, press and hold the activation button. You will hear a loud crackling sound and see an electrical arc between the stun prongs.
- In a self-defense situation, make direct contact with the assailant's body using the stun prongs. Aim for large muscle groups.
- Release the activation button to stop the discharge.
- After use, immediately slide the safety switch back to the "OFF" position to disarm the device.
Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store the stun gun in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Periodically check the charge level and recharge as needed to maintain battery health.
- Do not store the device in a fully discharged state for extended periods.
