Setup

1. Battery Installation

The robot dog requires one rechargeable battery (included). The remote control requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included).

Robot Dog Battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the robot dog.
  2. Open the compartment cover using a small screwdriver (not included).
  3. Insert the rechargeable battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

Remote Control Batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the compartment cover.

2. Charging the Robot Dog

Before first use, fully charge the robot dog's battery.

  1. Connect the charging cable to the charging port on the robot dog.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB charging cable to a standard USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port).
  3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, off when fully charged).
  4. Charging typically takes 2-3 hours. Do not overcharge.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • To turn on the robot dog, slide the power switch (located on its underside) to the "ON" position.
  • To turn on the remote control, press the power button.
  • To turn off, slide the switch to "OFF" for the dog, and press the power button for the remote.

2. Basic Functions (Remote Control)

Use the remote control to command the robot dog:

  • Forward/Backward: Use the directional buttons to move the dog.
  • Turn Left/Right: Use the directional buttons to change direction.
  • Demo Mode: Press the "Demo" button for the robot dog to automatically perform a series of actions and sounds.
  • Music/Dance: Press the "Music" or "Dance" button to activate musical performances. The robot dog has 4 levels of volume adjustment.
  • Volume Adjustment: Use the volume buttons on the remote to increase or decrease the sound level.

3. Interactive Functions

Touch & Follow Technology:

  • Touch Function: Gently touch the chin of the robot dog to trigger random actions and sounds.
  • Follow Function: The robot dog is equipped with three infrared sensors. Hold the remote control in front of the dog, and it will automatically search for and follow the infrared signal within 3 meters.

4. Programming Mode

Customize the robot dog's movements by programming a sequence of actions.

  1. Press the "Program" button on the remote control to enter programming mode.
  2. Input the desired sequence of actions using the remote control buttons (e.g., walk forward, turn left, sit down).
  3. Press the "Program" button again to save and execute the programmed sequence. The robot dog will perform the recorded commands.

5. Advanced Stunts and Functions (17 Total)

The robot dog can perform a variety of stunts and actions beyond basic movement. These include:

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the robot dog and remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning agents.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from both the robot dog and the remote control to prevent leakage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Battery Care: Always use the provided charging cable for the robot dog. Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
