Operating Instructions
Nozzle Selection and Use
The WPX2300e includes 5 quick-connect nozzles for various cleaning tasks. Always select the appropriate nozzle for the surface and cleaning intensity required. To change nozzles, pull back the collar on the spray wand, insert the desired nozzle, and release the collar to lock it in place. Ensure the nozzle is securely seated before operating.

Figure 4: The five quick-connect nozzles and their spray patterns.
- 0° (Red) Nozzle: Delivers a concentrated, high-pressure stream for tough, localized stains. Use with extreme caution on hard, non-delicate surfaces only.
- 15° (Yellow) Nozzle: Provides a powerful, narrow spray for intense cleaning of small areas, such as removing paint or rust.
- 25° (Green) Nozzle: Offers a wider spray pattern for general cleaning of most surfaces, including decks, patios, and driveways.
- Soap (Black) Nozzle: Designed for applying detergent at low pressure. Activates the onboard soap tank.
- Turbo Nozzle: Rotates a 0° stream in a circular motion, providing a wider cleaning path with high impact. Ideal for stubborn dirt on concrete and brick.
Using the Onboard Soap Tank
- Ensure the pressure washer is off and unplugged.
- Open the cap of the onboard soap tank.
- Fill the tank with pressure washer safe detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners.
- Close the cap securely.
- Attach the black (Soap) nozzle to the spray wand.
- Turn on the pressure washer. The unit will automatically draw detergent when the soap nozzle is in use.
- Apply detergent to the desired surface. Allow it to soak for a few minutes (refer to detergent instructions) before rinsing.
- To rinse, switch to a high-pressure nozzle (0°, 15°, or 25°). The unit will stop drawing soap.

General Cleaning Techniques
Always test the spray on an inconspicuous area first to avoid damaging the surface. Maintain a safe distance from the surface, typically 6-12 inches, adjusting as needed.
- Cars and Vehicles: Use the Soap nozzle to apply detergent, then rinse with the 25° nozzle. Maintain adequate distance to avoid paint damage.
- Fences and Decks: Start with the 25° nozzle. For tougher areas, use the 15° or Turbo nozzle, but be cautious to avoid splintering wood or damaging paint.
- Driveways and Concrete: The Turbo nozzle is highly effective for removing stubborn dirt, grime, and mildew. For large areas, consider using a surface cleaner attachment (sold separately).
- Patios and Furniture: Use the 25° nozzle for general cleaning. For delicate furniture, increase the distance or use a wider spray.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer. Always disconnect power and water before performing any maintenance.
- After Each Use:
- Turn off the pressure washer and water supply.
- Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure.
- Disconnect the garden hose and high-pressure hose.
- Drain any remaining water from the pump and hoses.
- Clean the nozzles and store them in their designated slots.
- Wipe down the unit with a damp cloth.
- Inlet Filter Cleaning: Periodically check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump. Remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and reinsert.
- Winterization (for storage below 40°F / 4°C):
- Disconnect all hoses and drain water from the unit.
- Pour pressure washer pump protector (available at hardware stores) into the pump inlet.
- Briefly turn on the unit (1-2 seconds) until the protector fluid exits the high-pressure outlet. This lubricates and protects internal components from freezing.
- Store the unit in a dry, frost-free location.
