- In the app, navigate to the "Smart" tab and select "Scene" or "Automation".
- Tap "Create Scene" or "Add Automation".
- Under "If" (condition), select "When device status changes".
- Choose your "Tank level monitor" from the device list.
- Select "Liquid level status" and define the condition (e.g., "High alarm" for turning off a pump, or "Low alarm" for turning on a pump).
- Under "Then" (action), select "Control Single Device".
- Choose your "smart plug" from the device list.
- Select "Switch 1" and set the action (e.g., "OFF" if liquid level is high, or "ON" if liquid level is low).

4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your EPTTECH Smart Socket, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Disconnect the Smart Socket from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

- Avoid Overload: Do not exceed the maximum current rating of 16 Amps to prevent damage to the device and connected appliances.
5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Smart Socket not connecting to Wi-Fi. | Incorrect Wi-Fi band (5 GHz instead of 2.4 GHz). Incorrect Wi-Fi password. Too far from router. | Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network during setup. Double-check the Wi-Fi password. Move the Smart Socket closer to your Wi-Fi router. |
| Device offline in app. | Wi-Fi signal loss. Power outage. Router settings changed. | Check your Wi-Fi router and internet connection. Unplug and re-plug the Smart Socket. If router settings changed, you may need to re-pair the device. |
| Appliance not turning ON/OFF. | Appliance not properly plugged into socket. Smart Socket is overloaded. Appliance itself is faulty. | Ensure the appliance is securely plugged into the Smart Socket. Check the appliance's power consumption against the socket's 16 Amp rating. Test the appliance by plugging it directly into a wall outlet. |
| Timing function not working. | Incorrect schedule settings. Device offline. | Verify the schedule settings in the app. Ensure the Smart Socket is online and connected to Wi-Fi. |
