Setup: Ink Filling Instructions

Your Hongdian M2 pen comes with a converter for use with bottled ink. Ink cartridges are not included. Follow these steps to fill your pen:

1. Unscrew the barrel from the grip section to expose the converter.
2. Twist the piston of the converter counter-clockwise until it reaches the bottom.
3. Dip the nib completely into your chosen bottled ink.
4. Slowly twist the converter piston clockwise to draw ink into the converter. Ensure the nib remains submerged to avoid air bubbles.
5. Once the converter is full, gently twist the piston counter-clockwise a small amount to expel a few drops of ink back into the bottle. This helps to remove any air from the feed and prevent ink burping.
6. Wipe any excess ink from the nib and grip section with a soft, lint-free cloth.

5. For a deeper clean, you can gently unscrew the nib and feed from the grip section (if comfortable doing so) and rinse them separately under cool running water.
6. Allow all components to air dry completely on a paper towel or soft cloth before reassembling or refilling with ink.

Storage
