5. Setup Instructions

  1. Set Current Time: Rotate the entire dial clockwise until the current time aligns with the arrow indicator (usually a small triangle or line) on the timer's face. Ensure you distinguish between AM and PM hours.
  2. Set ON/OFF Times: The black pins around the dial control the ON/OFF periods. Each pin represents 30 minutes.
    • To set an ON period, push the corresponding pins outwards.
    • To set an OFF period, leave the corresponding pins inwards.
    • For example, to turn a device ON from 6 PM to 10 PM, push out all pins between 6 PM and 10 PM.
  3. Connect to Power: Plug the timer into a standard 125V 60Hz wall outlet.
  4. Connect Device: Plug your landscape lighting transformer into the outlet on the side of the timer. Ensure the transformer's power switch is in the ON position.
  5. Set Manual Override Switch: For automatic operation, ensure the manual override switch is set to the "TIMER" or "AUTO" position (if available, otherwise ensure it's not manually ON/OFF). If you want the device to be continuously ON or OFF, use the manual override switch.

6. Operating Instructions

Once set up, the timer will automatically turn the connected device ON and OFF according to the programmed schedule. The dial will continuously rotate, indicating the current time.
