2. Safety Information
Please read all safety instructions carefully before installation and operation to prevent injury or property damage. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the unit is connected to a properly grounded 120-volt electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Water Filling: Before initial use, or after the unit has been drained, you must fully fill the water heater tank with water before turning on the power. Failure to do so can cause damage to the heating element (dry burn).
- Temperature and Pressure Relief (T&P) Valve: The included T&P relief valve is a critical safety component. It must be installed correctly and maintained to prevent excessive pressure buildup. Do not block or tamper with the T&P valve.
- Drainage: If the unit will not be used for an extended period, drain the water from the tank to prevent freezing and potential damage.
- Installation: Installation should be performed by a qualified professional if you are unsure about plumbing or electrical connections.
- Maintenance: Regular maintenance, including draining and flushing the tank, is recommended to prolong the unit's operational life and ensure safe operation.

Installation Steps:
- Choose Location: Select a suitable location, either under a sink or on a wall, ensuring sufficient space and access for plumbing and electrical connections. Refer to the product dimensions.
- Mounting:
- Under Sink (Floor-Mounted): Place the unit on a stable, level surface directly under the sink.
- Wall-Mounted: Use the provided hanging plate and screws to securely mount the unit to a sturdy wall surface, ensuring it is level.
- Plumbing Connections:
- Connect the cold water supply line to the blue inlet port (Cold Water Inlet, 1/2" NPT) on the top of the unit.
- Connect the hot water outlet line to the red outlet port (Hot Water Outlet, 1/2" NPT) on the top of the unit.
- Install the provided T&P relief valve into the designated port. Connect a discharge line from the T&P valve to a suitable drain. A drain pan is recommended (not included).
- Refer to the connection diagrams for single or dual sink setups.
- Fill Tank: Once plumbing connections are secure, open the hot water faucet at the tap and allow water to flow through the heater until all air is purged and a steady stream of water comes out. This ensures the tank is completely filled.
- Electrical Connection: After the tank is completely filled with water, plug the unit into a standard 120-volt grounded electrical outlet.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your water heater.
- Draining the Tank: The unit features a built-in drain valve for easy water drainage. This is important if the unit will be stored in an unheated area during freezing temperatures or if it will not be used for a long period.
- Disconnect the power supply to the unit.
- Turn off the cold water supply to the unit.
- Open a hot water faucet in your sink to relieve pressure and allow air into the system.
- Open the drain valve on the water heater and allow all water to drain out.
- Once drained, close the drain valve and the hot water faucet.
- T&P Valve Inspection: Periodically inspect the Temperature and Pressure Relief (T&P) valve to ensure it is not corroded or blocked. Test the valve annually by lifting the lever to ensure water flows freely.
- Anode Rod Inspection: While not easily accessible for routine user inspection, the anode magnesium rod helps reduce corrosion. If you notice a significant decrease in hot water output or unusual odors, professional inspection of the anode rod may be necessary.
- Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the unit clean with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
