1. Introduction

The SKYRC T1000 Maestro Charger is an advanced ACDC dual balance charger designed for various battery types, including LiHV, NiMH, and more. It features intelligent charging capabilities, multiple protection functions, and a user-friendly interface with multi-language support. 2. Safety Information

4. Product Overview

The T1000 Maestro Charger features a robust design with dual charging ports (A and B), an intuitive display, and control buttons for easy navigation.

4.1. AC/DC Dual Input

The T1000 Maestro supports both AC (100-240V) and DC (10-30V) power inputs, offering flexibility for various charging environments. Dual ports work independently to charge two battery packs efficiently and simultaneously.

5. Setup

  1. Connect Power: Plug the provided power cord into the AC input port on the charger and then into a suitable wall outlet. Alternatively, connect a DC power source (10-30V) to the DC input port.
  2. Power On: The charger will power on automatically once connected to a power source.
  3. Select Language: Navigate through the menu to select your preferred language (English, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Intelligent Charging

The T1000 Maestro charger automatically adjusts charging power based on the real-time status and needs of the battery, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.

6.2. Supporting Multiple Battery Types

This balance charger supports a wide range of battery types, including LiHV, LiPo, LiFe, LiIon, NiMH, NiCd, and Pb batteries. Ensure you select the correct battery type in the charger's settings before initiating a charge cycle.

6.3. Easy Operation and Interface

The charger features a simple and intuitive interface. Use the navigation buttons (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, ENTER) to browse menus, adjust parameters, and start/stop operations.

6.4. Digital Power Supply Function

Beyond charging, the T1000 can function as a digital power supply. After selecting the appropriate menu option, it offers an optimal voltage range of 5-27V with 0.1V increments and adjustable 1-15A current. It includes short circuit, overload, and reverse polarity protection.

6.5. Battery Health Benchmarking (with BD350)

When used with the BD350 discharger, the T1000 charger can utilize the tailored SkyRC Charger Master software to view or export the battery's discharge curve in real-time. This allows for precise comparison and analysis of various batteries' discharging curves.

6.6. Discharger, PD Hub & T1000 Integration

The newly-released BD350 discharger boasts a maximum discharge current of 40A when working with the T1000. This integration allows for rapid discharging capabilities.

6.7. Charger Master Software

Connect the T1000 to a PC via USB-C to monitor and control it with SkyRC Charger Master software. This software allows for firmware updates (OTA) and real-time synchronization of charging/discharging data, which can be analyzed and displayed graphically.

7. Maintenance

  • Clean the charger regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure all ports and connectors are free of dust and debris.
  • Store the charger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the charger to strong impacts.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your T1000 Maestro Charger, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Charger not powering on: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the charger and the power outlet. Verify the outlet is functional.
  • Charging error message: Check the battery type and cell count settings to ensure they match the connected battery. Inspect battery and charger connectors for damage or poor contact.
  • Overheating: Ensure the charger is placed in a well-ventilated area and that its cooling vents are not obstructed. Reduce the charging current if possible.
