3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the digital tape measure. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charge port (10) on the device and the other end to a compatible USB power source.

The battery indicator on the display (1) will show charging status. A full charge provides over 5,000 measurements.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- To power on: Long press the "M ON" button (3). The display will illuminate.
- To power off: Long press the "C/OFF" button (8). The display will show "Bye" before turning off.
4.2 Basic Measurement
Pull out the steel tape (5) to begin measuring. The digital display (1) will automatically show the measurement in real-time. The tape features a stable self-locking mechanism, allowing for single-handed operation.

4.3 Unit Conversion
To switch between measurement units (Ft-Inch, FT, INCH, MM, CM, M), long press the "UNITS" button (7).

4.4 Measurement Modes
The device supports 4 measurement modes: Length, Midpoint, Area, and Volume. Long press the "FUNC" button (2) to cycle through these modes.
- Length: Standard linear measurement.
- Midpoint: Calculates the midpoint of a measured length.
- Area: Calculates the area (length x width). Requires two measurements.
- Volume: Calculates the volume (length x width x height). Requires three measurements.

4.5 Data Recording
The tape measure can store up to 50 sets of historical data. To save a measurement, quickly press the "M ON" button (3) after obtaining a reading. To recall stored data, short press the "FUNC" button (2) to enter the data recall interface, then use the "M ON" and "UNITS" buttons to navigate through records.

4.6 Measurement Reference Point
The device can measure from either the front base (6) or the rear base (12). To switch the measurement reference point, short press the "UNITS" button (7). An icon on the display will indicate the current reference point.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the steel tape is clean and dry before retracting it fully into the housing.
5.2 Storage
Store the tape measure in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the tape is fully retracted to prevent damage.
5.3 Battery Care
Recharge the battery when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods to prolong its lifespan.
6. Troubleshooting
