1. Introduction

It combines traditional spirit levels with a digital display for enhanced versatility and readability. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device to ensure safe and correct usage.

2. Safety Information

  • Always handle the device with care to prevent damage.
  • Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, moisture, or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Keep the device away from strong magnetic fields, which may affect its accuracy.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device. Repairs should only be performed by authorized personnel.

3. Product Overview

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the device.
  2. Open the cover and insert the required button cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Power On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button to power on the device. Press and hold the ON/OFF button to power off the device. The device may also feature an auto-off function to conserve battery life after a period of inactivity.

5. Operation

5.1 Measurement Accuracy

The TL25 Digital Level Ruler offers high accuracy for precise measurements. The resolution is accurate to 0.05°.

5.2 Unit of Measurement Selection

Press the MODE button to cycle through the available measurement units: Degrees (°), Percentage (%), mm/m, and in/ft.

5.3 Relative Angle Measurement (ZERO Function)

To measure a relative angle, place the level on a reference surface and press the ZERO button. The display will show 0.00°, establishing this as your new reference point. Any subsequent movement will show the angle relative to this set zero.

5.4 Hold Function

Press the HOLD button to freeze the current reading on the display. This is useful for taking measurements in hard-to-see areas. Press HOLD again to release the reading and resume live measurement.

5.5 Automatic Display Reversal

The digital display automatically reverses its orientation when the level is turned upside down, ensuring readability from any position.

5.6 Bright LED Display & Audible Indicator

The device features a bright LED display for clear visibility in various lighting conditions. An audible indicator will sound when the level reaches a perfectly horizontal (0°) or vertical (90°) position, providing an additional cue for precise alignment.

5.7 Magnetic Base

The strong magnets integrated into the base of the level allow it to be securely attached to metal surfaces, freeing your hands for other tasks.

5.8 V-Groove for Cylindrical Objects

The V-groove design on the measuring edge allows for stable placement and accurate measurement on cylindrical objects such as pipes or conduits.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the device in its protective case in a dry, cool place when not in use. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Display Not Working

  • Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the device is powered on.

7.2 Inaccurate Readings

  • Ensure the measuring surface is clean and free of debris.
  • Verify the device is placed stably on the surface.
  • Avoid strong magnetic fields during measurement.
  • Perform a calibration if available (refer to specific calibration instructions if provided with your product).

7.3 Audible Indicator Not Sounding

  • Ensure the device is at 0° or 90°.
  • Check battery level.
