Operating Instructions
1. Key Features and Functions
- CORSAIR MLX Red Switches: These pre-lubricated linear mechanical switches provide a smooth, consistent, and responsive keypress, optimized for both gaming and typing.
- PBT Dye-Sub Keycaps: The durable PBT keycaps are resistant to fading, wear, and shine, ensuring the legends remain clear and the keycaps maintain their texture over time.
- Multi-Function Dial: Located in the top right corner, this versatile rotary dial can be used for various functions, including volume control, RGB brightness adjustment, and other customizable actions via iCUE software.
- iCUE Software Integration: Unlock full customization with CORSAIR iCUE software. Program macros, remap keys, create intricate RGB lighting effects, and fine-tune performance settings.
- Hot-Swappable Switches: The keyboard features a hot-swappable PCB, allowing users to easily change out the mechanical switches without soldering, enabling personalized typing feel and sound.
- Integrated Sound Dampening: Two layers of sound dampening material are integrated into the keyboard's design to eliminate pings and clacks, providing a more subdued and pleasant acoustic typing experience.
- Screw-in Stabilizers: Sturdy PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers are used for larger keys (Spacebar, Shift, Enter), reducing wobble and ensuring consistent keypresses.
- Top-Mount Plate Design: This design provides a consistent typing feel across the entire keyboard and contributes to airy acoustics.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning Your Keyboard
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard. Use a can of compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps. For surface cleaning, gently wipe the keycaps and chassis with a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture.
2. Replacing Switches and Keycaps
Thanks to the hot-swappable design, you can easily replace individual switches or keycaps. Use the included keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps. To remove a switch, use a switch puller (not included, but often comes with aftermarket switches) to gently unclip and pull the switch straight up. When installing new switches, ensure the pins align correctly with the PCB sockets to avoid bending them. Press firmly until the switch clicks into place.
