Introduction

The CORSAIR K65 PLUS WIRELESS is a high-performance 75% mechanical gaming keyboard designed for superior skill and distinctive design. It features pre-lubricated CORSAIR MLX Red linear switches for smooth and responsive keystrokes, integrated sound dampening for subtle acoustics, and versatile connectivity options including ultra-fast 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB wired. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your keyboard.

Setup

1. Connectivity Options

The K65 Plus Wireless keyboard offers three primary connection methods:

• 2.4GHz Wireless (Slipstream Wireless): For ultra-fast, low-latency performance, ideal for gaming. Insert the included USB wireless receiver into an available USB port on your PC, Mac, PS5, PS4, Xbox, or iPad. The keyboard will automatically connect.
• Bluetooth: For broad compatibility with various devices. Activate Bluetooth pairing mode on the keyboard (refer to the keyboard's function key combinations for specific instructions). Then, select "Corsair K65 Plus Wireless" from your device's Bluetooth settings to pair.
• USB Wired: For a direct, reliable connection and simultaneous charging. Connect the keyboard to your device using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable.

2. Initial Charge

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the USB cable to the keyboard's USB-C port and to a powered USB port on your computer or a USB wall adapter. The RGB lighting will indicate charging status. A full charge can provide up to 266 hours of wireless use with RGB lighting off.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Your Keyboard

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard. Use a can of compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps. For surface cleaning, gently wipe the keycaps and chassis with a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture.

2. Replacing Switches and Keycaps

Thanks to the hot-swappable design, you can easily replace individual switches or keycaps. Use the included keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps. To remove a switch, use a switch puller (not included, but often comes with aftermarket switches) to gently unclip and pull the switch straight up. When installing new switches, ensure the pins align correctly with the PCB sockets to avoid bending them. Press firmly until the switch clicks into place.
