1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the Bomieux Kids Digital Fitness Tracker Watch, Model T15E. This watch is designed for children aged 5-12 years and features a digital time display, alarm clock, stopwatch, step counter, calorie tracking, and distance measurement. It operates independently without requiring a smartphone application.

2. Setup

2.1 Charging the Watch

Before initial use, fully charge the watch. The watch features a built-in USB interface for convenient charging.

  1. Gently detach the watch dial from one end of the strap to reveal the USB connector.
  2. Insert the USB connector into any standard USB adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port, power bank).
  3. The screen will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.
  4. Once charged, reattach the watch dial securely to the strap.

2.2 Power On and Screen Activation

The watch adopts an energy-saving mode. To activate the screen and view information, press any button on the watch.

2.3 Setting Time and Date

The watch typically has a 'Mode' button to cycle through functions and a 'Set' or 'Adjust' button to modify values. Specific button labels may vary.

  1. From the main time display, press the Mode button repeatedly until the time setting mode is displayed (e.g., hours flashing).
  2. Use the Set or Adjust button to change the flashing value (hours, then minutes).
  3. Press the Mode button again to move to the next setting (e.g., minutes, then date, month, year).
  4. Repeat step 2 to adjust each value.
  5. Once all settings are complete, press the Mode button to exit the setting mode and return to the main time display.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Time Display and Backlight

  • The default screen displays the current time.
  • To activate the EL-Backlight for visibility in dark conditions, press the Light button (if available) or a designated button as indicated on your watch.

3.2 Fitness Tracking (Pedometer, Calories, Distance)

The watch includes a built-in pedometer to track physical activity.

  1. Press the Mode button to cycle through the different functions until you reach the pedometer display.
  2. The screen will show your current step count.
  3. Continue pressing the Mode button to view estimated distance walked and calories burned.
  4. The watch automatically resets daily activity data at midnight.

3.3 Alarm Clock

You can set up to two silent vibrating alarms to remind children of tasks or rest times.

  1. Press the Mode button until the alarm setting mode is displayed (an alarm icon may appear).
  2. Use the Set or Adjust button to set the desired alarm time (hours and minutes).
  3. Press the Mode button to confirm the setting and move to the next alarm or exit.
  4. To activate or deactivate an alarm, navigate to the alarm display and use the Set or Adjust button to toggle it on/off.
  5. When an alarm triggers, the watch will vibrate silently.

3.4 Stopwatch

The stopwatch function allows for accurate timing of activities.

  1. Press the Mode button until the stopwatch display appears (usually showing '00:00:00').
  2. Press the Start/Stop button (often the same as the 'Set' or 'Adjust' button in this mode) to begin timing.
  3. Press the Start/Stop button again to pause the stopwatch.
  4. To reset the stopwatch, press the Reset button (may be a different button or a long press of the Start/Stop button).

4. Maintenance

4.1 Water Resistance

The Bomieux T15E watch has a 5 ATM water resistance rating. This means it is resistant to splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water, such as when washing hands or face. It is not recommended for use during swimming, diving, showering, or any other underwater activities where it may be subjected to high water pressure or prolonged immersion.

4.2 Cleaning

To clean the watch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish or internal components.

4.3 Battery Care

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Watch Not Charging

  • Check for any debris in the USB port of the watch.

5.2 Screen Not Activating

  • Press any button on the watch to wake the screen from its power-saving mode.
  • If the screen remains blank, the battery may be depleted. Charge the watch as described in Section 2.1.

5.3 Time/Date Resets After Battery Depletion

  • If the watch battery completely drains, the time and date settings may reset. This is a characteristic of some digital watches without persistent memory.
  • After recharging, you will need to reset the time and date as described in Section 2.3.

5.4 Alarm Issues

  • Ensure the alarm is correctly set and activated (refer to Section 3.3).
