1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient use of your MaxWorks 50876 Collapsible Rolling Folding Dolly Cart. 2. Product Components

The MaxWorks 50876 cart consists of the following main components:

• Main Crate Body: The primary storage compartment, made of durable plastic.
• Telescoping Handle: An adjustable aluminum handle for pulling the cart.
• Lid: A removable lid that covers the crate and can support weight.
• Wheels: Two durable wheels for smooth transportation.

3. Setup and Unfolding

The MaxWorks 50876 cart comes pre-assembled and ready for use. Follow these steps to unfold and prepare your cart:

1. Place the folded cart on a flat, stable surface.
2. Gently pull the side panels outwards until the crate body forms a rectangular shape. Ensure all locking mechanisms (if present) click into place.
3. Extend the telescoping handle by pressing the push-button and pulling the handle upwards to your desired height. The handle can extend up to 39 inches (99 cm).
4. Place the lid securely on top of the crate if desired, or store it separately.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Loading the Cart

Open the lid and place items inside the crate. Ensure the weight is evenly distributed and does not exceed the maximum capacity of 80 pounds (36.29 kg). For stability, heavier items should be placed at the bottom.

4.2. Transporting Items

Once loaded, extend the handle to a comfortable height. Tilt the cart slightly backward to engage the wheels and pull it along. The two wheels are designed for smooth and efficient movement across various surfaces.

4.3. Using the Lid as a Seat or Step Stool

The lid is designed to support up to 250 pounds (113 kg) and can be used as a temporary seat or step stool. Ensure the lid is securely placed on the crate and the cart is on a stable, level surface before using it for support.

4.4. Folding for Storage

To fold the cart for compact storage:

1. Empty the cart and remove the lid.
2. Retract the telescoping handle fully by pressing the push-button and pushing the handle downwards.
3. Push the side panels inwards until the cart collapses flat.
4. Secure the lid in its designated storage position (often by snapping it onto one of the folded panels) to maintain the compact form.

5. Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the cart with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the plastic.
• Storage: Store the cart in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prolong its lifespan.
• Inspection: Periodically check the wheels and handle for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all moving parts operate smoothly.

6. Troubleshooting

• Handle sticks when extending/retracting: Ensure the push-button is fully depressed. Check for any obstructions in the telescoping mechanism.
• Wheels do not roll smoothly: Inspect wheels for debris (e.g., hair, dirt) and remove if present. Ensure the cart is not overloaded.
• Cart does not fold flat: Ensure the crate is empty and the handle is fully retracted. Check for any items or obstructions preventing the side panels from collapsing completely.
