Safety Information

  • Always place the feeder on a stable, level surface.
  • Keep the feeder away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Do not immerse the main unit in water. Only removable parts are washable.
  • Ensure the power cord is not chewed by pets.
  • Use only dry pet food with a diameter between 3mm and 10mm.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Regularly check the food level and desiccant for optimal performance.

Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the feeder for any damage. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.

2. Power Connection

  • AC Power: Connect the AC adapter to the feeder's power port and plug it into a wall outlet.
  • Battery Backup: For backup power, insert 3 D-size alkaline batteries into the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity. The feeder will automatically switch to battery power during an outage. Note that WiFi functionality is automatically disabled when operating solely on battery power to conserve energy.

3. App Installation & WiFi Connection

  • Download the dedicated "PetTech" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS/Android).
  • Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register an account.
  • Add the feeder device within the app. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The feeder does not support 5GHz WiFi.
  • Follow the app's prompts to connect the feeder to your home WiFi network.

4. Food Loading

  • Open the lid of the food tank.
  • Pour dry pet food into the tank. Ensure the food size is between 3mm and 10mm.
  • Close the lid securely.

5. Voice Recording

Use the app to record a short voice message (e.g., "Time to eat!") that will play automatically before each scheduled meal to attract your pet.

Operating Instructions

1. Scheduling Feeds (App)

  • Open the PetTech app.
  • Navigate to the feeding schedule section.
  • Set desired meal times (up to 6 per day).
  • Adjust the number of portions for each meal (1 portion = 5g, up to 15 portions = 75g).
  • Save your schedule. The feeder will dispense food automatically.

2. Manual Feeding

  • Via App: In the PetTech app, select the "Feed Now" option and choose the number of portions to dispense immediately.
  • Via Device: Press and hold the manual feed button on the feeder (if available, refer to device specific buttons) to dispense a single portion.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Disconnect the power adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.
  • Remove the food tank, lid, and stainless steel bowl. These parts are washable with water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly.
  • Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit in water.

2. Food Freshness

  • Replace the desiccant pack in the lid every 1-2 months to ensure optimal food freshness.
  • Ensure the lid and food discharge port are properly sealed after loading food or cleaning.

Troubleshooting
