3. Wireless Connection for Android/Windows (Miracast/DLNA)
- On your Android/Windows device, enable the wireless display or screen casting feature (often found in Quick Settings or Display settings). Look for options like "Smart View", "Screen Cast", "Wireless Display", or "Project".
- Select the "Yinker-XXXXXX" device from the list of available devices.
- For a more stable connection, it is recommended to connect your phone to the dongle's Wi-Fi network (Yinker-XXXXXX) and then use your phone's web browser to access the dongle's IP address (e.g., 192.168.49.1) to configure it to your home Wi-Fi network. This allows your device to access the internet while mirroring.

3. Compatibility Notes
The Yinker Wireless Display Dongle supports Airplay, Miracast, and DLNA. It is compatible with most streaming apps and websites on Android and Windows systems. However, iOS and MacOS systems do not support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) copyright-reserved applications such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and DIRECTV when mirroring.

Maintenance
- Keep the device in a dry, well-ventilated area.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the dongle, especially during extended use, to prevent overheating.
Troubleshooting
- No Display/Black Screen:
- Ensure the dongle is properly connected to the HDMI port and receiving adequate power (5V/1A).
- Verify that your display device is set to the correct HDMI input source.
- Try connecting the dongle to a different HDMI port or display device.
- Unstable Connection/Lagging:
- Ensure your source device is within close proximity to the dongle.
- Check for Wi-Fi interference from other devices. The dongle supports both 2.4G and 5G bands; try switching if one is congested.
- Restart both the dongle (by unplugging and re-plugging power) and your source device.
- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Verify the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password are correct.
- Ensure your router is operating on a supported frequency (2.4G or 5G).
- If using iOS P2P mode, ensure your device is directly connected to the dongle's Wi-Fi.
- HDCP Content Not Displaying (iOS/MacOS):
- Due to HDCP copyright protection, certain streaming apps (e.g., Netflix, Hulu) are not supported for mirroring on iOS/MacOS devices. This is an industry standard limitation, not a device malfunction.
- Portrait Mode Not Working:
- The one-press portrait/landscape switching feature is only supported for smartphone mirroring. Laptops and computers do not support this function.
