Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for effective nasal irrigation:
- Add Saline: Pour one packet of URAQT Neti Salt into the 240ml nasal washer bottle.
- Add Water: Fill the bottle with 300ml of warm water (approx. 37°C / 98.6°F).
- Dissolve Salt: Securely close the bottle with the cap and shake gently until the salt is completely dissolved.
- Attach Nozzle: Select the appropriate nozzle (adult or child) and firmly attach it to the bottle. The wide caliber, four-hole nozzle is for adults, and the softer flow nozzle is for children.
- Positioning: Lean over a sink, tilt your head slightly to one side (e.g., left side for right nostril irrigation). Breathe through your mouth.
- Begin Irrigation: Gently insert the nozzle into the upper nostril. Press the valve button at the bottom of the bottle to start the flow of the solution. The solution will flow through the nasal passage and drain out of the lower nostril.
- Stop Flow: Release the button to stop the flow.
- Repeat: Remove the nozzle, stand upright, and gently blow your nose to clear any remaining solution. Repeat the process for the other nostril.
