3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your garment rack. It is recommended to assemble on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

  1. Identify Parts: Lay out all components and match them with the labels (A-J) in the assembly diagram (Image 2.1).
  2. Initial Fastening: Begin by loosely attaching screws and bolts to their designated positions. Do not fully tighten any screws until all parts are correctly aligned.
  3. Assemble Base: Connect the base frame components (e.g., parts B, D) using the provided screws. Ensure the caster attachment points are correctly oriented.
  4. Attach Casters: Securely attach the four casters to the base. Ensure the two lockable casters are placed on the same side for convenient access.
  5. Install Vertical Supports: Connect the vertical support pipes (e.g., parts E, J) to the base.
  6. Attach Hanging Rods: Secure the upper hanging rods (e.g., parts C, H) to the vertical supports. Note the 42cm width between the front and back poles for optimal hanging space.
  7. Install Bottom Shelf: Place the bottom shelf bars onto their designated supports.
  8. Final Tightening: Once all parts are correctly assembled and aligned, gradually tighten all screws and bolts securely. Avoid overtightening, which can strip the threads, and ensure screws are inserted straight, not at an angle.

  • The 42 cm width between the front and back poles provides ample space, making it easy to hang and retrieve clothes without crowding.
  • Use the integrated hooks on the side for hanging bags, scarves, hats, or other accessories.

4.2 Using the Bottom Shelf

4.3 Mobility and Stability

  • The four smooth-rolling casters allow you to easily move the garment rack, even when fully loaded, making it convenient for rearranging your space or cleaning.
  • Two of the casters are equipped with locking mechanisms. To stabilize the rack, press down on the lock levers on these casters. To move, release the locks.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your garment rack, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the steel frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
  • Weight Distribution: Distribute the weight of your garments evenly across both rods to prevent strain on the frame. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacities.
  • Caster Care: Keep the casters free of dust and debris to ensure smooth movement.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your garment rack, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Rack is Wobbly:
    • Ensure all screws and bolts are fully tightened. Refer to the assembly instructions for proper tightening technique.
    • Verify that the rack is placed on a flat, even surface.
    • Check that the casters are locked when stationary.
  • Difficulty Assembling / Screws Not Fitting:
    • Ensure you are using the correct screws for each part as indicated in the assembly diagram.
    • Make sure parts are aligned correctly before attempting to insert and tighten screws. Do not force screws if they do not fit easily; this can strip the threads.
    • Loosely assemble all parts first, then tighten them securely once the entire structure is in place.
  • Casters Not Rolling Smoothly:
    • Check for any hair, dust, or debris caught in the caster wheels and remove them.
    • Ensure the caster locks are disengaged.
