• Maximum weight capacity is 450 lbs. Do not exceed this limit.
• Securely anchor the hammock to stable supports.
• Do not use the hammock without the spreader bars properly installed.
• Keep children away from the hammock unless supervised by an adult.
• Always inspect the hammock and all hardware (ropes, chains, spreader bars) before each use for any signs of wear or damage.
• Ensure anchors are level, stable, and sturdy.

Setup Instructions

This hammock is designed for use with a 12ft hammock stand (not included) or suitable sturdy anchor points. Ensure all components are present and undamaged before beginning assembly.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify you have the hammock fabric, spreader bars, ropes, and any included hardware (bolts, nuts, chains).
2. Assemble Spreader Bars: Attach the V-shaped hardwood spreader bars to the ends of the hammock fabric using the provided reinforced bolts and nuts. Ensure they are securely fastened.

3. Attach Nylon Ropes: Connect the durable nylon ropes to the spreader bars and then to the hanging chains or anchor points. Ensure the ropes are evenly distributed and securely tied or clipped.

4. Hang Hammock: If using a hammock stand, ensure it is stable and rated for the hammock's length and weight capacity. Attach the hammock chains to the stand's hooks. If hanging between trees or posts, use appropriate heavy-duty straps or hardware (not included) and ensure the anchor points are strong enough to support the maximum weight.

5. Attach Pillow and Side Pocket: Secure the detachable pillow to the hammock as desired. Attach the side pocket to the edge of the hammock for convenient storage.

6. Final Check: Before first use, gently test the hammock's stability and ensure all connections are secure.

Operating Instructions

1. Entering the Hammock: Approach the hammock carefully. Sit down slowly in the center, distributing your weight evenly. For two people, both individuals should enter and exit cautiously to maintain balance.
2. Relaxing: Once seated, gently recline. The V-shaped spreader bar is designed to provide stability and prevent tipping. Adjust the detachable pillow for optimal comfort.
3. Using the Side Pocket: Place personal items such as books, magazines, or beverages in the detachable side pocket for easy access.
4. Exiting the Hammock: Slowly sit upright, then carefully swing your legs to the side and stand up, maintaining balance.

Maintenance

• Cleaning Fabric: The weather-resistant polyester fabric can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. For deeper cleaning, the fabric may be hand-washed. Allow to air dry completely.
• Hardwood Care: Periodically inspect the hardwood spreader bars for any signs of wear or damage. To maintain the wood's finish and prolong its life, you may apply a wood sealant or oil as needed, especially if exposed to harsh weather conditions.
• Rope Inspection: Regularly check the nylon ropes for fraying, cuts, or excessive wear. Replace ropes if any damage is observed.
• Storage: During prolonged periods of non-use or inclement weather, it is recommended to remove the hammock and store it in a dry, protected area to extend its lifespan.

Troubleshooting

• Hammock feels unstable: Ensure the spreader bars are correctly installed and all ropes/chains are securely attached to stable anchor points. Verify the hammock stand (if used) is on a level surface.
• Fabric appears dirty: Refer to the "Cleaning Fabric" section under Maintenance for instructions on spot cleaning or hand washing.
• Ropes show wear: Inspect ropes for damage. If significantly worn or frayed, replace them immediately for safety.
