Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your XFALIGHTS DJ light:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the light fixture and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit.
2. Placement: Choose a stable and secure location for the light. Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the fixture for ventilation and movement. The light can be placed on the ground or mounted.
3. Mounting (Optional): If mounting, use the provided mounting bracket and screws. Ensure the mounting surface or truss is capable of safely supporting the weight of the fixture. The light can be mounted upside down or sideways.
4. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the "POWER IN" port on the rear of the fixture. Plug the other end into a compatible power outlet (120 Volts).
5. DMX Connection (Optional): For DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller to the "DMX IN" port on the fixture. If linking multiple fixtures, connect from "DMX OUT" of the first fixture to "DMX IN" of the next.

Operating Instructions

The XFALIGHTS DJ light offers multiple control modes for versatile operation.

Control Modes:

• Auto Mode: The fixture runs through pre-programmed light sequences automatically.
• Sound Mode: The light reacts to sound and music, changing patterns and colors based on audio input detected by the built-in microphone.
• DMX Mode: Allows for professional control over all functions (color, movement, dimming, etc.) using a DMX512 controller. This light supports 12 DMX channels.
• Master/Slave Mode: Link multiple fixtures together. One fixture acts as the master, controlling all other slave fixtures to synchronize effects.

Key Features:

• Dual-Sided Design: Features one 15W LED for beam effects on the front and four 12W LEDs for wash effects on the back.
• Color Mixing: RGBW 4-in-1 LEDs allow for 16.7 million color changes.
• Movement: 540° X-axis (Pan) and 360° Y-axis (Tilt) rotational movement for dynamic positioning.
• Beam/Wash Angles: Wash angle of 40° and beam angle of 8°.
• Dimming: 0-100% linear dimming for precise brightness control.
• Strobe: Each color flashes up to 20 times per second.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Periodically clean the lenses and exterior casing with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ventilation: Ensure the cooling fan and ventilation openings are free from dust and debris. Blocked vents can lead to overheating.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the fixture in its original packaging or a protective case in a dry, dust-free environment.
• Inspection: Regularly check power cables and DMX cables for any signs of wear or damage. Replace immediately if necessary.
